Supporters and shareholders of Aston Villa have joined together to fight what they see as the “endless cycle of under-achievement” their club has suffered for the past 20 years.
Press Release - 11th July 2003.
Fans Survey
Villa Fans Combined are pleased to be working with respected football survey site www.footballfanscensus.com to find out exactly how fans of Aston Villa feel as customers of the club. We ask all fans of Aston Villa to complete the survey in order to give us even more information as to how the current set up is viewed. The more information we gain, the better the argument for a roots and branch change.
Again, like the Hodgson report, it is important to point out that The Football Fans Census are an independent organisation(see notes). We would also like to point out that subscriptions are available to the press and interested parties for complete report packages and ffc can be contacted via their website.
This in depth survey, which will develop over the month, is another positive step forward for VFC. VFC spokesman Jonathan Fear says, "this survey is just another step in showing the current board that the fans are not willing to sit and watch the club decline anymore. We have had the excellent Hodgson Report - Aston Villa PLC and are now looking from the grass roots level of the club. It is time for radical change and VFC won't rest until it is achieved."
Mission Statement:
To provide an independent and neutral forum for football fans that is both an information resource and a platform enabling them to communicate opinion and issues relating to the game.
Information on reports:
The Football Fans Census is a new company that runs national surveys and produces reports to promote football fans attitudes on issues within the industry to the game's authorities and decision-makers. Have access to the very reports sitting on the desks of the:
